Letter Opening...3/23/13!

3/23/13...It's Here!!!

Jake's mission call FINALLY arrived! After weeks of waiting and checking the mailbox it was here!  Cool story about the day it arrived. He had told us weeks before that he could not imagine opening his Mission Call w/o Adam Patterson. Adam had been traveling the week before it came & was traveling the week after it came. We expected it to come much earlier that week and it happened to show up in our mailbox on Saturday afternoon! We had planned a Letter Opening Party at the Patterson's and had all of our friends & family on standby. We are so blessed to have so many close friends here in CT that have truly become our family. So on that Saturday afternoon with our closest friends & family (via facetime & skype) Jake was called to serve in the Goiania, Brazil mission. He will be an amazing missionary & we are so proud of him for the decision he made to serve.
